Already in my week in Australia. I left January 7 to Australia for a week of training and 3 weeks of tournament which included the Australian Open Junior Gran Slam. I am working with 2 prominent Canadian Players Carol Zhao and Eugenie Bouchard through the Tennis Canadian Federation “Tennis Canada”. Our first stop was Traralgon a grade 1 Junior tournament. Eugenie won 2 matches and got sick and finished her match but wasn’t much of herself losing in the third round. Carol played a seed first round and played really well beating a girl that she had not beaten before. She also won 2 round to lose to the eventual Semi Finalist. The tournament was really well organized. We then took the 2 hours train ride to Melbourne to play the Australian Open.
